Message from the Chair

As Chair of the Chatham-Kent Police Service Board, it is my honour to serve alongside dedicated members of our community and our police service to ensure effective, accountable, and community-driven policing across our region. Our priority is to support a model that not only responds to the challenges of today, but also reflects the values and expectations of the people we serve.
Public safety is a shared responsibility, and we are committed to fostering strong partnerships, encouraging open dialogue, and promoting initiatives that contribute to a safe, inclusive, and resilient community. We believe in proactive, evidence-based policing that is grounded in honour, integrity, and respect; principles that guide every action and decision within our service.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service is made up of men and women who work tirelessly to protect our communities, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. As a Board, we are steadfast in our commitment to providing oversight, supporting innovation, and ensuring that our policing services align with the unique needs and values of Chatham-Kent.
Together, we will continue to build a safer and stronger future, one where every resident feels respected, heard, and protected.
