Experienced Officer Incentive Program Introduced by the Chatham-Kent Police Service
Chatham-Kent, Ontario – The Chatham-Kent Police Service is excited to announce the launch of its new Experienced Officer Incentive Program. This program aims to attract experienced officers from recognized Canadian Police Agencies by offering a financial incentive to join our service.

Under the Experienced Officer Incentive Program, officers who hold a rank of first-class or higher from a recognized Canadian Police Agency will be eligible for a lump-sum financial payment of $30,000.00 upon their swearing-in to our service. This payment will be subject to applicable statutory and standard payroll deductions.

While experienced officers are required to provide documentation consistent with regular applicants, the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police Certificate (O.A.C.P.) is exempted from this requirement.
