Man arrested for Failing to Attend Court CK24027257
At approximately 11:59a.m., the Chatham-Kent Police were contacted by a neighboring police service who had located a man with an outstanding Chatham warrant for failing to attend court. The 38-year-old man of no fixed address was subsequently arrested and transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters, where he was held for bail.
Man Arrested for Theft Under $5000 CK24027305
At approximately 4:27p.m., in the area of Murray St, in Chatham, police located a man with an outstanding warrant for theft under $5000, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5000. The 33-year-old Chatham man of no fixed address was subsequently arrested and later released with a future court date.
Residential Break and Enter CK24027336
At approximately 6:46pm, police were contacted by a resident in the area of Catherine St, in Blenheim with regards to a break and enter. An unknown person entered the home through a window and proceeded to remove a DVD player. The suspect was confronted by the homeowner, at which time the suspect fled the residence on foot.
