Chatham-Kent Police Service – Daily Report for February 7-9, 2025
The Chatham-Kent Police Service (CKPS) responded to a variety of incidents over the past 24 hours. Below is a summary of the key events, including arrests, investigations, and other notable occurrences:

Arrests:
• 21 arrests were made throughout the day, including individuals wanted for outstanding warrants, failure to comply, and domestic-related offenses.

Arrest, Warrants – Case# CK25007974
Date: February 7, 2025, Time: 13:10 hrs., Location: Clark Street West, Leamington
Details:
• On February 7, 2025, at approximately 13:10 hrs., a 27-year-old male from Wheatley was
arrested by the Leamington Ontario Provincial Police. He possessed unendorsed warrants
for two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, obstruction and
failure to attend court. He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters and
was released with a court date of February 24, 2025. The Chatham-Kent Police Service
would like to thank the Leamington Ontario Provincial Police for their involvement in this
case.
Arrest, Impaired – Case# CK25008049
Date: February 7, 2025, Time: 22:25hrs., Location: Water Street, Wallaceburg
Details:
• On February 7, 2025, at approximately 22:25 hrs, the Chatham-Kent Police Service
received a call for service that a 22-year-old male from Wallaceburg was attempting to
drive a motor vehicle while intoxicated. He was arrested and charged with operating while
impaired by alcohol, resisting a peace officer and refusing to comply with demand. The
arrestee was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where he was
released with a future court date of February 24, 2025.

Date: February 8, 2025, Time: 11:10hrs., Location: Richmond Street, Chatham
Details:
• On February 8, 2025, at approximately 11:10 hrs a 43-year-old male from Chatham-Kent
was arrested by the Chatham-Kent Police Service on an outstanding endorsed warrant
for failing to comply with his probation. He was released with conditions and a future
court date of March 17, 2025.

Date: February 8, 2025, Time: 03:36hrs., Location: Grand Ave East, Chatham
Details:
• On February 8, 2025, at approximately 03:36 hrs., a 46-year-old male from Chatham, was
located by the Chatham-Kent Police Service on an unendorsed witness warrant. He was
arrested and transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters where he
currently being held for bail.

Date: February 9, 2025, Time: 16:15hrs. Location: Fork Street, Wallaceburg
Details:
• On February 9, 2025, at approximately 16:15hrs., as a result of a routine traffic stop, a 33-
year-old female from Wallaceburg was arrested on an endorsed warrant for failure to
attend court. She was released with conditions and a future court date of March 10, 2025.

Date: February 9, 2025, Time: 22:17hrs Location: Gray Street, Chatham
Details:
• On February 9, 2025, at approximately 22:17 hrs., a 39-year-old from Chatham, who was
located during a suspicious person investigation was found to have an outstanding
warrant for failure to attend court. He was arrested by the Chatham-Kent Police and
released with conditions and a future court date of March 3, 2025.

Date: February 9, 2025, Time: 02:46hrs. Location: Prospect Street, Tilbury
Details:
• On February 9, 2025, at approximately 02:46 hrs., a 33-year-old female from Harrow, was arrested by Chatham-Kent Police Service as a result of a traffic stop. She was found to have outstanding unendorsed warrants for failing to attend court. She was transported to the Chatham-Kent Headquarters and was released with a future court date of February 10, 2025.
The Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere Program (RIDE)
RIDE- Case# CK25008027/ CK25008270
Date: February 7, 2025, Time: 19:42hrs., Location: Chatham-Kent
Details:
• On February 7, 2025, at approximately 19:42hrs., the Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere
Program (RIDE) was conducted in Chatham. As a result, 268 vehicles were checked, 2
tests were executed, and 11 cautions were issued. The Chatham-Kent Police Service is
committed to reducing impaired driving and ensuring the safety of everyone on our
roads through the RIDE Program
