Season’s Greetings
As the year comes to a close and we celebrate the joy and spirit of Christmas, I want to take a moment to extend my warmest wishes to you and your families and extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of our members and the Chatham-Kent community who make this season truly special. Christmas is a time for reflection, gratitude, and togetherness. It is an opportunity to cherish the bonds that connect us and to look forward with optimism, and hope for the year ahead.
To the dedicated members of our Chatham-Kent Police family, I am deeply proud of the work you do every day. Your perseverance, courage and sacrifice does not go unnoticed. Thank you for your unwavering dedication and service, whether it’s responding to an emergency, solving a complex case, or simply being a reassuring presence in our community, you exemplify the true spirit of public service. Your commitment in keeping each other and Chatham-Kent safe, continues to inspire trust and pride in our community.
To our community, thank you for your trust, cooperation, and partnership. Your ongoing support has been crucial as we work together to build a bond rooted in mutual respect and shared goals for a safer and stronger society. This season reminds us of the importance of unity, kindness, and compassion. Let us continue to build bridges, foster understanding, and create a community where everyone feels valued and protected.
The holiday season is filled with cultural traditions that reflect our diverse and vibrant community, let us celebrate these cultural differences.
As you gather with loved ones this holiday season, let us remember all those who are working and cannot be with their families, including the dedicated Chatham-Kent Police Services members, Chatham-Kent Fire, Chatham-Kent EMS, our Chatham-Kent Health Alliance peers and our Military, thank you for your service and sacrifice.
May your holiday season be filled with health and happiness. As we look ahead to the new year, let us continue to work together in our mission to make Chatham-Kent a healthier and safer place for all. Together, we can face the challenges ahead with the same strength and resolve that defines our police service.
Please remember to be safe this holiday season and we thank you for your continued trust and support. From our family to yours, we wish you a safe, joyful and peaceful Christmas and a Happy New Year!
