The Chatham-Kent Police wants to assure the public that we are thoroughly investigating the mischief of the spray painted Swastika on the Cenotaph in Chatham, as we do with any incidents of this nature. We understand that such actions can cause concern and unrest among citizens, and we want to assure you that we are doing everything possible to investigate the matter.

Sometime overnight between February 28, 2023, and March 1, 2023, at 6:40 a.m., an unknown person(s) attended on Sixth Street at King Street West in Chatham and used blue spray paint to damage the Cenotaph.
