Chatham-Kent Police Service – Daily Report for June 9, 2025. The Chatham-Kent Police Service (CKPS) responded to a variety of incidents over the past 24 hours. Below is a summary of the key events, including arrests, investigations, and other notable occurrences.

Key Incidents:
Arrest/Bail Violations – CK25033390
Date: June 9, 2025, Time: 08:47hrs., Location: Chatham
On June 9,2025, at approximately 08:47 hrs., the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a report that a 32-year-old male from Chatham had approached a residence he was prohibited from attending under the conditions of his release order and probation order.
Upon investigation, it was determined that witnesses had seen the individual in the area before officers arrived.
The investigation confirmed that the court-imposed conditions required him to remain a set distance away from the occupants of the residence and not be within 50 metres of any place where he knows the occupants to live, work or attend school except when required to attend court.
After consulting with his Probation and Parole officer, the individual surrendered to officers.

•Count 2: Fail to comply with probation order
He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters, where he is currently being held for bail.
Arrest/B&E/Assault – CK25033567
Date: June 9, 2025, Time: 02:43hrs., Location: Chatham
On June 9,2025, at approximately 02:43 hrs., the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a break and enter in progress at a residence in Chatham.
An intoxicated 32-year-old female from Chatham had reportedly forced her way inside of a residence while a 36-year-old female also from Chatham was asleep.
The homeowner woke, and attempted remove the intruder and was assaulted in the process. The homeowner succeeded in removing her from the premises and contacted the police.
Officers arrived shortly and located the suspect nearby. She was arrested without incident and charged with the following:
•Count 1: Break and Enter of a dwelling house
•Count 2: Assault (Indictable Offence)
She was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters, where she was released with a scheduled court date of July 22, 2025.
