Man Arrested for Threats to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance CK23088865
On Thursday October 26, 2023, at approximately 9:45 A.M., the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a threat received by the Chatham Health Alliance, resulting in a partial lockdown.
Upon receiving the report of the threat, officers, in collaboration with the Chatham Health Alliance security team, ensured the safety of all individuals present. We want to reassure the community that there is no ongoing threat to the Chatham Health Alliance or the public.
At 11:44 A.M., the 47-year-old Highgate man was located at his home and taken into custody without incident. The accused has been charged with one count of Uttering Threats – Cause Death or Bodily Harm and was transported to police headquarters where he will later be released with a future court date of December 4th, 2023.
