Driving complaint leads to Impaired charges Kenesserie Road Thamesville CK24007372
A Witnesses called Police about an impaired driver around 7:00 pm. The vehicle was observed until the Police were able to arrive in the area. When the vehicle was located and stopped the driver attempted to hide in the back of the vehicle claiming to be a passenger and not the driver. A 55-year-old Belle River man was arrested and transported to Chatham-Kent Headquarters. The man refused to provide a proper sample of his breath. The man was charged with Failure to comply with demand and Operation while impaired and released with a future court date of March 4/2024
Fail to comply release order (X2) – McNaughton Ave. Wallaceburg. CK24007368/CK24007387
A 44-year-old Wallaceburg man had previously been released with conditions not to attend a local business. The man attended the business on McNaughton Ave Wallaceburg but left prior to police arriving. Two hours later the man returned to the same location and was arrested by Police. The man was transported to Chatham-Kent Headquarters where he was charged with Failing to comply with a release order X2 and held for bail.
Breach of Peace Chatham-Kent Headquarters 24 Third Street Chatham CK24007354
A 27-year-old man was hanging around the front foyer of Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters. The man was told to leave after being allowed to stay in the area a long period of time. The man became aggressive with officers and was arrested for breach of the peace. He was lodged in custody until he became calm and was no longer a concern.
Neighbour trouble leads to threat charges Threats Mary St. Chatham CK24007394
A 58-year-old woman was not getting along with a neighbour and arguing verbally back and forth. Later in the evening the woman made a threat to harm the neighbour. The woman was arrested and charged with Threatening bodily harm and released with a court date of March 18/2024
