Chatham-Kent, Ontario: The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 165 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Four people were arrested on outstanding warrants.
Man Arrested for Failing to Attend Court CK24045631
On February 16, 2024, the man was arrested and charged as a result of an assault investigation in Chatham. He was eventually released by the court with conditions and a scheduled court appearance. When the man failed to attend court for a scheduled court appearance a warrant was issued for his arrest.
On September 15, 2024, at 8:09 a.m., the man attended police headquarters and turned himself in to the police. He was released with a future court date of October 7, 2024. He is currently facing the following charges: uttering threats and two counts of assault.
