Woman Arrested for Failing to Attend Court CK22046948
On October 4, 2022, at 11:19 a.m., the woman attended Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters and turned herself into the police. The woman was wanted on warrants for failing to attend court.
The 28-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and held pending a bail hearing.
Woman Arrested for Domestic Offences CK22047001
At 5:29 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Fort Street in Tilbury.
Through investigation, police discovered the woman and her ex-spouse engaged in a verbal argument. The argument began inside a residence and continued outside as the ex-spouse attempted to disengage by leaving with their two children. The woman entered her vehicle and started driving after them. The woman drove the vehicle towards the ex-spouse and made physical contact. The woman yelled comments she would cause them harm. As the ex-spouse called the police, the woman stopped her vehicle and struck him several times.
Police arrived and located the woman a short distance away.
The 32-year-old Tilbury woman was arrested and charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, assault with a weapon, assault and three counts of uttering threats. She was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
Woman Arrested on an Outstanding Warrant CK22047042
At 9:18 p.m., police responded to a disturbance on Poplar Street in Chatham.
Upon arrival, police learned the woman was not welcome at the residence and was not granted entry. The woman left the area before the police arrived. The woman was wanted on an outstanding warrant for an incident that occurred on September 29, 2022.
The 47-year-old Chatham woman was located a short distance away and arrested. She was transported to police headquarters and released with conditions and a future court date of November 7, 2022.
Man Arrested for Theft and Possession CK22047052
At 10:59 p.m., police located the man on Colborne Street in Chatham.
Through investigation, police learned the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for theft and possession of stolen property.
The 47-year-old Chatham man was arrested and released with a future court date of October 31, 2022.
