At 10:48 a.m., police responded to a bail violation investigation in Dresden.
Through investigation, police learned the woman was bound by a release order with conditions prohibiting her from communicating with an individual. The investigating officer confirmed the woman was texting and calling the individual.
At 4:36 p.m., the woman was located and arrested.
The 35-year-old Dresden woman was charged with failing to comply with a release order. She was released with a court date of November 27, 2023.
Woman Arrested for Impaired Driving CK23053256
At 11:02 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Grand Avenue East in Chatham.
Police learned the woman was driving erratically through Grand Avenue East and St. Clair Street intersection when she struck another vehicle travelling north. The woman left the scene, but her plate and vehicle particulars were recorded by witnesses.
The woman was located on Michener Road and arrested. The woman was transported to police headquarters for impairment tests.
The 34-year-old Chatham woman was charged with impaired driving, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop after a collision. She was released with conditions and a future court date of October 30, 2023.
