Man Arrested for Mischief CK23058193
At 9:11 a.m., police responded to Partridge Crescent in Chatham for a mischief investigation.
Through investigation, the officer discovered that on November 8, 2023, the man rendered the street impassable by laying wooden boards with nails and a large railway tie across the roadway.
The 30-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with mischief. He was released with a future court date of December 18, 2023.
Man Arrested for Assault with a Weapon CK23058225
At 12:29 p.m., an officer on patrol observed the man walking on Prince Street North in Chatham. The officer recognized the man from previous encounters. The officer confirmed the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
The 31-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with two counts of assault with a weapon from an October 29, 2023 assault investigation. The man was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
Man Arrested for Failing to Attend Court CK23058309
At 11:23 p.m., officers attended Arnold Road in Chatham Township to investigate suspicious activity.
Officers arrived on the scene and located the man. Officers confirmed the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court in relation to a 2020 investigation.
The 33-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and released with a future court date.
Men Arrested for Theft CK23058321
On November 10, 2023, at 3:31 a.m., police responded to a business on Queen Street North in Tilbury to investigate suspicious activity. The owner was reporting two men removing items in the business’s loading dock.
Upon police arrival, one man attempted to flee on foot. Officers arrested the man after a short foot pursuit. The second man was located nearby and arrested. The two men were transported to police headquarters.
The 41-year-old and the 49-year-old Windsor men were both charged with theft, possession of stolen property, and possession of break-and-enter tools.
They were both held pending a bail hearing.
