Man Arrested for Failing to Attend Court CK24020563
At 8:33 a.m., police located the man on Harvey Street in Chatham. The officer confirmed the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court in relation to drug offences.
The 42-year-old Chatham man was arrested and transported to police headquarters where he was held pending a bail hearing. He is currently facing the following charges: failing to attend court and two counts of possessing a controlled substance.
Man Arrested for a Probation Violation CK24020601
At 12:28 p.m., police responded to a disturbance on Gray Street in Chatham.
Through investigation, it was revealed the man, who was bound by conditions of a probation order, was observed outside a residence he was prohibited from attending. The man was located a short distance away and arrested.
The 36-year-old Chatham man was transported to police headquarters, where he was released with conditions and a court date of June 10, 2024. He is currently charged with failing to comply with a probation order.
Man Arrested for Failing to Attend Court CK24020648
At 4:03 p.m., the man attended the Ontario Court of Justice on Grand Avenue in Chatham. The man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend a scheduled court date related to an assault investigation.
The 48-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and held pending a bail hearing. He is currently facing the following charges: assault with a weapon.

At 3:36 p.m. the police responded to Gillard Street in Wallaceburg for a trespass to property investigation.
Upon arrival, officers located the man and confirmed he was wanted on an outstanding warrant in relation to a 2022 recovered stolen vehicle investigation.
The 40-year-old Walpole Island man was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he was held pending a bail hearing. He is currently facing the following charges: possession of stolen property.

Through investigation, the officer confirmed a passenger was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court in relation to a 2021 stolen vehicle investigation.
