Man Arrested for Failing to Comply with a Probation Order CK23027309
At 6:06 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on a man lying on a bench in a park near Landings Place in Chatham.
Upon arrival, police located the man and confirmed he did not require medical attention. Police learned the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with a probation order.
The 30-year-old Raleigh Township man was arrested and released with a future court date of June 19, 2023.
Youth Arrested for Public Intoxication CK23027323
At 7:00 p.m., police responded to a disturbance on the train bridge in Wallaceburg. Information was received that a group of youths were causing a disturbance.
Police arrived and located a youth, intoxicated and unable to care for themselves.
The 15-year-old Wallaceburg youth was transported to police headquarters until a parent could be located.
Man Arrested for Assault CK23027362
At 10:20 p.m., police responded to St. George Street in Dresden to investigate suspicious activity.
Police arrived in the area and located the man. Police confirmed the man was wanted for a May 31, 2023, assault investigation.
The 49-year-old Dresden man was arrested and charged with four counts of assault. He was transported to police headquarters and released with conditions and a future court date of July 10, 2023.
