Man Arrested for Intimate Partner Violence CK23063495
On June 7, 2023, the man was arrested for intimate partner violence and released with conditions, including not communicating with the victim.
On December 12, 2023, the man attempted to contact the victim via Facebook. The investigating officer located the man at his home on Michener Road in Chatham and arrested him.
The 55-year-old Chatham man was charged with failing to comply with an undertaking. He was transported to police headquarters and released with conditions and a future court date of January 15, 2023.
Man Arrested for Intimate Partner Violence CK23063521
On December 12, 2023, at 7:54 p.m., police responded to a home on Duncan Street in Wallaceburg for a disturbance.
Upon arrival, officers learned the man and the woman engaged in a verbal argument that escalated when the man threw the woman to the ground and struck her.
The 36-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with two counts of assault. He was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
Woman Arrested for Bail Violations CK23063509
On August 22, 2023, the woman was arrested and released with conditions, including to reside at a particular address, be at that residence between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., and present herself at the entrance at the request of a peace officer.
On December 3, 2023, at 2:17 a.m., officers received information the woman was not abiding by her bail conditions and began an investigation. The officer attended her listed address and confirmed she was no longer residing there. A warrant was issued for her arrest when she could not be located.
On December 12, 2023, at 6:08 p.m., the woman was located at an address on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg and arrested.
The 60-year-old Chatham-Kent woman was charged with failing to comply with an undertaking. She was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
