On November 3rd, 2017 in the early morning hours Chatham-Kent Police Officers attended an address in Chatham for a noise complaint. A 22 year old Chatham man has been visited frequently over the last several days in regards to noise and cautioned several times. On this last occasion the 22 year old was attended to concurrently over several hours and ultimately issued a $615 Nuisance By-Law ticket.

On November 2nd, 2017 a break and enter was reported to Chatham-Kent Police. Unknown persons entered a house under construction and removed several tools. Total cost of the stolen property was valued at $2000.00.
Homes under construction have become targets for thieves recently. They are often not occupied and contain expensive tools and raw materials. If you see activity at these locations that seems odd; err on the side of caution and contact police.
