The Chatham-Kent Police Service (CKPS) responded to a variety of incidents over the past 24 hours. Below is a summary of the key events, including arrests, investigations, and other notable occurrences:

Arrests:
- 6 arrests were made throughout the day, including individuals wanted for outstanding warrants, failure to comply, and domestic-related offenses.
Warrants-Case# CK25002883
Date: January 15, 2025, Time: 16:01 hrs, Location: St. Thomas
Details:
- Leonard Greason, a 48-year-old male, London resident, who is the subject of an arrest warrant for Arson-Disregard for Human Life. He was located and arrested by the St. Thomas Police Service. Greason was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters, where he is held for bail. Thank you to St. Thomas Police for their assistance in locating Greason.

Date: January 15, 2025, Time: 18:21 hrs., Location: Trillium Village, Chatham.
Details:
- A 47-year-old male, Chatham resident, was subject of Reasonable and Probable Grounds (RPG) for the offence of Utter Threats (CK25001668) was located. He was released with a court date of March 3, 2025.
Property Check / B&E Commercial -Case# CK25002960
Date: January 15, 2025, Time: 00:43 hrs. Location: Richmond Street, Chatham
Details:
- Chatham-Kent police officers, while conducting property checks on Richmond Street, discovered a bicycle lying in the snow near the entrance of an unsecured door of a building. Upon entering the building to secure the premises, officers found a 58-year-old male, Chatham resident, in possession of a bag filled with wiring and transformer parts. He was taken into custody and held for bail.
