The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 223 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Five people were arrested.
Break and Enter Faubert drive Chatham CK23029048
In the mid afternoon a home owner came home to their residence on Faubert Drive Chatham. A bicycle was observed outside of the residence A male suspect fled the scene on the bicycle with property from the house. The area was checked by police and the male could not be found.

Disturbance leads to several charges (IPV) Park Lane Chatham CK23029124
A man attended an address on Park Lane Chatham. When at the address a verbal confrontation took place that escalated to the police being called. The man made threats towards the woman at this location and damaged a vehicle. The man was arrested and charged with Assault, utter threats to cause bodily harm, mischief and threats to burn personal property. The male was transported to Chatham-Kent Headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
Break and enter Queen Street Chatham CK23029200
A business on Queen Street, Chatham had their front window smashed around 5:00 am. The suspects entered the business and fled prior to police arrival. Officers attended the area and did not locate anyone.
