The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 153 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Four people were arrested, three on warrants.
Man arrested for Assault/Assault with a Weapon/Theft and Possession Under $5000.00 – CK24010568
On March 8th, 2024, around 3:00pm, a man entered Home Hardware on Keil Dr. Chatham, stealing $120 worth of items. Upon exiting the store, he was apprehended by the store manager and employees, at which time he assaulted them. The 30 year old Chatham man was arrested by police moments later for the above charges and held for a bail hearing.
