The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 158 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Twelve people were arrested.
Break and Enter – CK24004999
Yesterday morning police responded to a break and enter to a residence on Emily Street in Wallaceburg. Sometime since January 6, 2024 an unknown person forced entry into the residence causing approximately $300 in damage. Nothing was believed to have been taken. There are currently no suspects and the investigation is ongoing.

Male Arrested on Outstanding Warrant – CK24005009
Yesterday morning an officer on general patrol in Wallaceburg located a male in the area Albert Street who was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant. The 33-year old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and later released with a future court date.
Male Arrested on Outstanding Warrant – CK24005034
Yesterday afternoon an officer on general patrol in Wallaceburg located a male in the area of Reaume Avenue who was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant. The 34-year old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and held pending a bail hearing.

Yesterday an officer on general patrol in the city of Chatham located a male in the area of Colborne Street who was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant. The 33-year old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and held pending a bail hearing.
Male Arrested on Outstanding Warrant – CK24005053
Yesterday afternoon police responded to an ambulance assist call in the area of Stewart Street in Chatham. A male at the location was found to be wanted on an outstanding warrant. The 41-year old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant and later released on a future court date.
Female Arrested on Outstanding Warrant – CK24005055
Last night police responded to a residence on Base Line Road for a family dispute. A female at the residence was found to be wanted on an outstanding warrant. The female was found to be intoxicated and assaulted police. The 41-year old female was arrested on the strength of the warrant and for assaulting a Police Officer. The female was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and she is to be held until sober.
Female Arrested on Outstanding Warrant – CK24005073
Last night police attended a residence on London Road in Thamesville and located a female who was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant. The 69-year old female was arrested on the strength of the warrant, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and later released with a future court date.
Male Arrested for Impaired Operation by Drug – CK24005131
Early this morning an officer on general patrol in the area of King Street West in Chatham located a vehicle travelling in the area well under the speed limit. As a result a traffic stop was initiated. Through investigation the officer believed that the male driver was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drug. The 44-year old male was arrested for Impaired Operation by Drug and transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for DRE tests. The DRE tests further showed that the male was impaired by a stimulant. The male was processed and later released with a future court date.
