The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 120 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Seven people were arrested.
Male Arrested on Outstanding Warrant – CK24003477
Yesterday morning on officer on general patrol in Wallaceburg located a male in the area of Dufferin Avenue who was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant. The 45-year old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and held pending a bail hearing.

The 40-year old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and held pending a bail hearing.
Female Arrested on Assault Charge – CK24003532
Last night police responded to a shoplifting complaint at a business on Park Avenue East in Chatham. The female involved was still at the business and when confronted by staff the female bit one of the employees causing no significant injury. The 39-year old female was arrested for Assault, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and later released with a future court date.
Break and Enter – CK24003581
Early this morning police responded to a break and enter at a business on Base Line Road in Wallaceburg. A door at the business had been damaged to gain entry into the building. Unknown at the time if anything had been taken. The investigation is ongoing and there are currently no suspects.
