I grew up on a farm where all you had were chores, sports and family.
I can tell you, that the skills I learned on the farm, I’ve used coaching Junior C hockey teams in Wallaceburg, Wheatley & Blenheim along with coaching my daughters’ various baseball and hockey teams.
My father always compared the Police Service to a Hockey Team. The Chief is the Coach, Senior Administration are the Assistance Coaches, S/Sergeants & Sergeants are the Managers and the Constables & Civilians are the players. The success of your team relies on mutual respect, good communication and teamwork.
I am currently assigned to Court Services and love how I have two families. My work family is always there to help, while at home I have an amazing wife and 3 beautiful girls.
On my days off, you’ll find me on the golf course or refereeing hockey.
