CK23051204 – Public Intoxication Arrest – Talbot St. West, Blenheim
A man was in the area of the Municipal building in Blenheim. The man was highly intoxicated and trying to fight people on the street. The 43-year-old Blenheim man was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place and transported to Headquarters until sober. A provincial offences ticket was issued under the liquor licence and control act.
CK23051273 /CK23051274 Motor vehicle investigation leads to arrest-King Street Chatham
A parked vehicle was struck on King Street Chatham and the driver of a second vehicle left the area. This vehicle was subsequently found. The driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol. The driver was taken to Chatham-Kent Headquarters. A 27-year-old Chatham Female was charged with impaired/80 plus and released with a future court date. The motor vehicle collision is still under investigation.
CK23051284 – Mischief -threats charges Grand Ave. East Chatham
A local business on Grand Ave East Chatham had a window broken. Through investigation the suspect was located and arrested. He was transported to Chatham-Kent H.Q. While in custody the man made threats to harm another person and was arrested and charged with threats. A 24-year-old Chatham man was charged with mischief and uttering threats and released with a future court date.
CK23050989 – Found construction equipment – possibly fiber optic
The Chatham-Kent Police had equipment turned in that may be used in fiber optic work. The equipment was in a blue case with external pouches. Anyone missing similar equipment can reach out to the investigating officer PC Tetrault @ levit@chatham-kent.ca.
