The Chatham-Kent Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a driver involved in a motor vehicle collision that occurred on October 5, 2023, at approximately 5:40 p.m. The incident took place at the intersection of McNaughton Avenue and Gillard Street in Wallaceburg.
The collision involved a cyclist and a silver or grey car. Regrettably, the vehicle’s driver fled the scene immediately after the incident. We are now turning to our community members for their support in identifying the individual responsible.
The cyclist sustained minor physical injuries and sought medical attention at a local hospital.
The Chatham-Kent Police urges anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has any information about the driver involved to come forward. Your assistance is crucial in helping us bring closure to the victim and ensuring that justice is served.
