The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 147 calls for service in the last 24 hours. One person was arrested.
R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) Driver arrested CK23060860
The Chatham-Kent Police set up a R.I.D.E program in Chatham. A man driver was spoken with and found to be under the influence of alcohol. The man was arrested and taken in for further tests. The man was found to have 1.5 times the legal limit of alcohol in his system. The man was charged with Operation while impaired/80 plus and released with a future court date of December 11,2023.
With the holiday season upon us we ask that the public to plan ahead and avoid driving while under the influence of alcohol. If caught you risk your vehicle being impounded and an automatic driver’s licence suspension.
Trailers entered @ Wilson’s Conservation – CK23060801
The Wilson Conservation Park is closed for the season. Several trailers were found to be entered when an owner was walking the area.

Break and enter – Alarm stops theft Grand Ave east Chatham CK23060881
A new building under construction on Grand Ave East had an alarm triggered in the early morning hours. Prior to Police arriving a citizen observed several people leaving the area. The building was cleared by responding Officers. Nothing was taken and only damages to a window.
Missing Person Located Wallaceburg CK23060739
In the early hours of November 25,2023, a man was last seen in the area of Bear Line Chatham. With the weather conditions and concern for the man the area was searched. Later in the day the male was located and found to be fine. The Chatham-Kent Police would like to thank the publics assistance in locating the man.
