Suspicious vehicle leads to arrest Stolen Vehicle Queen street Tilbury CK23034617
A citizen contacted police about a suspicious vehicle and driver in the area of Queen street North Tilbury Police located the vehicle and a woman spoken with. The vehicle was found to be stolen from Essex area the day prior. The woman was placed under arrest and transported to Chatham-Kent Headquarters. The woman was released with a future court date Of August 14/2023.
Driving complaint mid afternoon Queens line Chatham- Driver charged with Impaired /80 plus CK23034710
A citizen observed a vehicle driving erratically on Queens Line heading into Chatham. The citizen was able to update the police until they arrived on scene. A man driver was located and arrested. He was transported to Chatham-Kent Headquarters where he was found to have four times the legal limit. A 37 year old man from Wallaceburg was charged with operation impaired 80 plus and operation while impaired alcohol/drugs. The man was released with a future court date of July 31/2023
Counterfeit money – McNaughton Ave W, Chatham CK23034749
A woman attempted to make a purchase at a local convenience store in Chatham with counterfeit money. The worker kept the money and contacted the Police. A woman was located outside of the store. The woman was arrested and transported to Chatham-Kent Headquarters and eventually released. The woman was charged with Possession of Counterfeit money and utter counterfeit money with a future court date of August 21/2023
