Hire a Paid-Duty Officer

In order to assist the general public with paid duties, the application is available here.

Paid Duties are generally for:

• School dances
• Rock concerts
• Sports events
• Business security
• Special Events
• Bank moves
• Large load moves
• Traffic Control

 

There is a minimum charge of four (4) hours at a rate of $75 per hour, plus HST. If you require a police escort for a house move / large load move there is an additional charge for the use of the police vehicle, $30 per hour, per vehicle plus HST.

Paid Duty requests must be received 48 hours in advance of any paid duty request.  Failure to do so may result in the paid duty being denied.
