At 8:59 a.m., Walpole Island Police notified Chatham-Kent Police that they had apprehended a woman who was wanted on multiple warrants issued by CKPS. These warrants were related to her failure to appear in court for various incidents in 2022 and 2023, including arson, theft, and a break-and-enter.
The 25-year-old Chatham-Kent Woman was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
Man Arrested for Mischief CK23046676
On August 25, 2023, police began investigating a domestic disturbance that occurred in the driveway of a Park Avenue West address in Chatham.
Through investigation, police learned a verbal argument escalated when the man threw a coffee onto the radio and dash of a car, exited the vehicle, and began kicking the vehicle. The vehicle sustained damage to the passenger door. The man could not be located at the time, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
On September 4, 2023, at 2:27 p.m., the 31-year-old Chatham-Kent man attended police headquarters and turned himself in to the police. The man was charged with two counts of mischief. He was released with conditions and a future court date of October 16, 2023.

On September 5, 2023, at 1:02 a.m., while on general patrol, police located the man on McNaughton Avenue West in Chatham. Officers confirmed the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court related to an assault investigation.
The 41-year-old Chatham man was arrested and released with a future court date of October 23, 2023.
