The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 156 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Seven people were arrested.
Male Arrested on Outstanding Warrant – CK24013932
Yesterday morning an officer on general patrol in the city of Chatham located a male in the area of Wellington Street East who was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant. The 58-year old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant and later released with a future court date of April 29, 2024.

Yesterday morning an officer on general patrol in the city of Chatham located a male in the area of Wellington Street East who was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant. The 42-year old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant and later released with a future court date of April 29, 2024.
Male Arrested on Outstanding Warrant – CK24013990
Yesterday afternoon an officer on general patrol in the city of Chatham located a male in the area of Pine Street who was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for Failing to Attend Court. The 32-year old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and held pending a bail hearing.
Female Arrested for Theft – CK24014000
Yesterday afternoon police responded to a business on Talbot Street West in Blenheim for a theft complaint. Through investigation it was found that a female had taken confidential documents from the business. The 27-year old female was located and arrested for Theft and Possession under $5000. The female was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and held pending a bail hearing.
Break and Enter – CK24014012
Yesterday afternoon police responded to a business on James Street in Wallaceburg for a break and enter complaint. Sometime between March 24 and March 28, 2024 unknown persons entered the business and took a security system and several Pokemon cards. There are currently no suspects and the investigation is ongoing.

Male Arrested for Aggravated Assault – CK24014049
Last night police responded to a residence on Florence Street in Chatham. Through investigation it was determined that a male at the residence had assaulted 2 other people with a hockey stick. The 43-year old male was arrested for Aggravated Assault, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and held pending a bail hearing.
Male Arrested on Outstanding Warrant – CK24014074
Early this morning an officer on general patrol in the area of Richmond Street in Chatham located a male who was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant. The 55-year old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and held pending a bail hearing.
