Woman Arrested for Assault CK23032998
At 3:59 p.m., police responded to Park Avenue East in Chatham for an assault investigation.
Through investigation, police learned a verbal argument the night before escalated when the woman pushed and shoved the victim.
The 58-year-old Chatham woman was located and arrested. She was transported to police headquarters and charged with assault. She was released with conditions and a future court date of July 31, 2023.
Woman Arrested for Public Intoxication CK23033024
At 6:46 p.m., police responded to Murray Street in Wallaceburg to conduct a well-being check on a woman reported to be walking into traffic.
Police located the woman and found her intoxicated and unable to care for herself.
The 39-year-old Wallaceburg woman was transported to police headquarters and held until sober.
Man Arrested for Theft CK23033041
At 7:49 p.m., police responded to a business on Pioneer Line in Chatham for a theft investigation.
Police learned the man removed two drills from the shelf and exited the store without paying for the merchandise. The man was located on St. Clair Street and arrested.
The 33-year-old Chatham-Kent man was charged with theft and possessing stolen property. He was transported to police headquarters and released with conditions and a future court date of July 31, 2023.
