The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 156 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Two people were arrested, and one was on an outstanding warrant.
Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrant CK23029530
At 7:08 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police Essex Detachment transported the man to the Chatham-Kent Police headquarters in Chatham. The man was wanted on an outstanding warrant held by the Chatham-Kent Police Service for failing to attend court in relation to an assault investigation.
The 42-year-old Chatham man was arrested and held pending a bail hearing.

The Chatham-Kent Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying this individual in a theft of gas investigation. The theft occurred on June 6, 2023, at the Esso on Bloomfield Road in Chatham. The man was driving a grey Honda Odyssey.
