Man Arrested for Probation Order Violation CK23038537
At 1:26 p.m., police responded to the corner of Fifth Street and King Street in Chatham for a man lying on the sidewalk.
Police located the man and confirmed he was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with his probation.
The 38-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested and released with a future court date of August 14, 2023.
Woman Arrested on Outstanding Warrant CK23038614
At 7:37 p.m., while on general patrol, an officer observed the woman on King Street in Wallaceburg. The officer recognized the woman from previous interactions.
The officer confirmed the woman was wanted for failing to attend court in relation to charges resulting from a Controlled Drug and Substance Act Search Warrant. The woman was arrested.
The 46-year-old Wallaceburg woman was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
Man Arrested for Threats CK23038655
On July 26, 2023, at 12:49 a.m., police responded to Patteson Avenue for a threat investigation.
Police learned the man and the victims verbally argued over a social media audio messaging platform. During the argument, the man uttered several threats to harm the victims.
The 18-year-old Chatham man was located at his residence and arrested. He was transported to police headquarters and charged with uttering threats. He was held pending a bail hearing.

On July 26, 2023, at 1:15 a.m., police responded to an address on Fifth Street in Chatham for a threat investigation.
Through investigation, police learned the victims were outside their apartment building when the man walked by. The victims asked the man if he was ok, as he appeared upset. The man became irate and began yelling at the people. During the argument, he makes threatening comments.
The man was identified and located at his residence.
The 53-year-old Chatham man was charged with two counts of uttering threats. He was transported to police headquarters and released with conditions and a future court date of August 28, 2023.
