Woman Arrested for Impaired Driving

On 2024-01-12 at approximately 2245hrs the Chatham-Kent Police responded to a motor vehicle collision in Blenheim. A 30 year old Chatham woman was found to be operating her vehicle and collided with an unoccupied parked vehicle. Through investigation the woman was determined to be intoxicated by alcohol and was arrested. The accused was arrested and transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters to provide breath samples. The accused’s breath results were in excess of double the legal limit.
The accused was charged with 80 Plus and Impaired Operation. The accused had their motor vehicle impounded for seven days, driver’s license suspended for ninety days and released when sober with a court date.

On 2024-01-12 a 22 year old Chatham woman attended the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters to surrender herself on an endorsed warrant for Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000. The woman was processed on the charges and released with a future court date.
