CK230009992- Weapons
During the evening of February 27th, 2023, the Chatham-Kent Police responded to an address in the area of Orchard Heights for a report of a 78-year-old Chatham male threatening an individual with a firearm. Police arrived and located the male party who was then arrested and charged with several firearm offences. A pellet gun and a firearm were seized from the residence. The male party was released on a Form 10 with a court date of March 27th, 2023.
CK23010011- Warrants
In the evening of February 27th, 2023, a 39-year-old Wallaceburg male was located on Murray Street, Wallaceburg. Through investigation, the male was found to have an unendorsed warrant for failing to attend court. As a result, the male was taken into Police custody and held pending a bail hearing.
CK23010026- Warrants
While on general patrol, Police located a 41-year-old Wallaceburg female on Lorne Ave, Wallaceburg. The female was subject of an endorsed warrant for Trespass at night. The female was later released on a Form 9 with a court date March 27th, 2023.
CK23010028- Warrants
While Police were investigating another incident, a 38-year-old Wallaceburg male was located on Lorne Ave. The male was found to have an unendorsed warrant for several Highway Traffic Act offences. As a result, the male was arrested and brought to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters pending a bail hearing.

The Chatham-Kent Police would like to remind everyone that criminals look for opportunities. There has been an increase in vehicle thefts, and we would like to remind citizens to always lock your vehicles and not to leave items such as wallets, identifications, or other valuables in vehicles overnight.
