Chatham-Kent, Ontario: The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 133 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Four people were arrested with one arrest for outstanding warrants.
Break and Enter Investigation CK24006134
On February 10, 2024, at approximately 8:00 a.m., police were called to a Coutt’s Line address near Tilbury, Ontario regarding a break and enter. Upon investigation, it was learned that suspect(s) broke into a shed overnight and stole approximately $1000 worth of property. The investigation is still ongoing.

Bail Violation Arrest CK24006153
On February 10, 2024 at approximately 10:30 a.m., police located a male on Prince Street South in Chatham, Ontario who was failing to comply with a release order and breaching a probation order. The 21-year-old Chatham man was arrested and transported to CKPS Headquarters where he was held for a bail hearing.
Warrant Arrest CK24006194
During routine patrol on February 10, 2024 at 4:00 p.m, police located a man with an outstanding warrant on Tilbury Street in Tilbury, Ontario. The 48-year-old Tilbury man was arrested and transported to CKPS Headquarters where he was later released with a future court date.
Man Arrested for Intimate Partner Violence CK24006219
At approximately 8:30 p.m. on February 10, 2024 a man and women became involved in an argument which resulted in the woman being assaulted by the man. The man also threw the woman’s phone damaging it. Police were called and attended the Tweedsmuir Ave West address in Chatham. As a result of the investigation, the 39-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with Assault and Mischief Under $5000. The man was transported to CKPS Headquarters and later released with a future court date.
Man Arrested for Mischief CK24006255
On February 10, 2024, a man was trespassed from a Pearl Crescent residence in Chatham after damaging property that belonged to the tenant. At that time, the tenant did not wish to charge the man but wanted him removed and trespassed from the property. On February 11, 2024 at 2:00 a.m., the man returned and began kicking the door causing damage to it. Police were called to the area and located the man a short distance away. As a result of the investigation, the 29-year-old man was arrested and charged with Mischief Under $5000. He was later released with a future court date.
