Man Arrested for Failing to Attend Court CK23063229
On October 22, 2023, the man was arrested and charged with mischief. He was released with conditions and a court date of November 20, 2023.
When the man failed to attend a scheduled court appearance, a warrant was issued for his arrest.
On December 11, 2023, the man was located on King Street West in Chatham and arrested.
The 57-year-old Chatham-Kent man was charged with mischief and failing to attend court. He was released with a new court date of January 8, 2023.

At 12:54 p.m., police responded to Godfathers Pizza on St. George St South in Dresden for a disturbance.
Upon arrival, officers learned the man had entered the restaurant and begun throwing items around the store. When staff members asked the man to clean up the mess, the man threatened the staff member. The officer arrested the man and transported them to police headquarters.
The 21-year-old Dresden man was charged with mischief and uttering threats. He was released with conditions and a future court date of January 15, 2023.
At 5:08 p.m., police responded to Queen Street East in Dresden as the man was causing another disturbance with his landlord.
Officers learned he engaged in a verbal argument with his landlord that escalated when the man brandished a small silver knife. The man was arrested by officers and transported to police headquarters.
The 21-year-old man was charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. He was held pending a bail hearing.
Man arrested for Public Mischief CK23063346.
On December 11, 2023, between 6:11 p.m. and 8:33 p.m., the man contacted the Chatham-Kent Police Service via 911 and the non-emergency line approximately 12 times. He falsely reported an incident that investigators confirmed had not occurred. Emergency Communication Operators repeatedly cautioned the man regarding the appropriate use of the 911 service, but he responded with belligerence.
Between 8:41 p.m. and 10:55 p.m., the man continued his disruptive behaviour by making approximately eight more calls to the police. During these calls, he yelled, screamed, and used offensive language toward the operators.
On December 12, 2023, at 12:15 a.m., officers attended the man’s Lacroix Street home in Chatham and arrested him. The man was transported to police headquarters.
The 53-year-old Chatham man was charged with public mischief and harassing communications. He was held pending a bail hearing.

At 9:02 p.m., police located the man on Murray Street in Chatham and confirmed he was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court concerning several investigations.
The 40-year-old Chatham-Kent man was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing. He currently faces the following charges: obstructing a peace officer, resisting arrest, assaulting a police officer, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, two counts of failing to comply with a release order, two counts of uttering threats, two counts of theft, two counts of possession of stolen property.
Woman Arrested for Failing to Attend Court CK23063356
At 9:20 a.m., police located the woman on Murray Street in Chatham. They confirmed she was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court concerning an assault investigation.
The 30-year-old Chatham-Kent woman was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing. She currently is facing the following charges: uttering threats, two counts of assault with a weapon, two counts of failing to attend court, and three counts of mischief.
Man Arrested for Fraud CK23063374
On December 8, 2023, at 11:56 a.m., police responded to Arnold Street in Wallaceburg to investigate a theft from a vehicle. Officers learned a wallet containing debit and credit cards was stolen. The cards had been used at several Wallaceburg businesses.
Through investigation, the officer obtained video surveillance from one of the businesses and identified the man using the stolen cards.
The officer also confirmed the man was bound by a probation order with a curfew condition of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
On December 11, 2023, the 34-year-old Wallaceburg man was located on Turnbull Avenue in Wallaceburg and arrested. He has been charged with possession of stolen property, using a credit card without authorization, fraud under $5000, and failing to comply with a probation order. He was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
Woman Arrested for Failing to Attend Court CK23063392
On December 12, 2023, at 2:34 a.m., police located the woman on Mary Street in Chatham. The officer confirmed the woman was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court concerning a break-and-enter investigation.
The 31-year-old Chatham woman was issued a new court date and released. She was initially charged with being unlawful in a dwelling house and possession of stolen property.
