Man Arrested for Bail Violations CK24038696
In June 2023, the man was bound by conditions prohibiting him from contacting a specific person. Through investigation officers learned he was breaking this condition by contacting the person through social media.
When the man was not located a warrant was issued for his arrest.
On August 16, 2024, at 10:17 a.m., the 33-year-old Sarnia man attended police headquarters, and turned himself in to the police. He was held pending a bail hearing. He is facing the following charges: two counts of failing to comply with a release order.
Man Arrested for Assault CK24038791
At 7:32 p.m., police responded to a motel on Grand Avenue East in Chatham for an disturbance.
Upon arrival, officers learned a verbal argument between two men escalated when one assaulted and threatened the other.
The 54-year-old Chatham man was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he was released with conditions and a future court date of September 23, 2024. He is facing the following charges: uttering threats and assault causing bodily harm.
Man Arrested on OPP Warrant CK24038816
At 10:40 p.m., police responded to Elizabeth Street in Wallaceburg to investigate suspicious activity.
Officers located the man and confirmed he was wanted on a warrant held by the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police.
The 27-year-old Ontario man was arrested and released to the Ontario Provincial Police.
