Theft & Possession– CK23028637
Police were called to Walmart on McNaughton Ave, Wallaceburg yesterday. A 29-year-old Wallaceburg woman was charged with Theft and Possession of Stolen Property, after she left the store, failing to pay for a cart of groceries. The woman was later released from custody with a future court date of July 10, 2023 to answer to the charges.
Disturbance – CK23028772
Last night at approximately 10:00 P.M. police were called to a disturbance call on King Street, Chatham. An 18-year-old Chatham man was located, found him to be intoxicated and unable to care for himself. He was arrested, charged for being intoxicated in a public place, transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and lodged till sober.

The Chatham-Kent Police are investigating a break-and-enter that occurred this morning at Wendy’s Restaurant on McNaughton Ave, in Wallaceburg.
