The Chatham-Kent Police Service (CKPS) responded to a variety of incidents over the past 24 hours. Below is a summary of the key events, including arrests, investigations, and other notable occurrences:

Arrests:
10 arrests were made throughout the day, including individuals wanted for outstanding warrants, failure to comply, and domestic-related offenses.
Key Incidents:
Warrant/ Arrest-Case# CK25001371Date: January 08, 2025, Time: 14:41 hrs, Location: Murray St., Chatham
Details:
- During the execution of a fire investigation at Murray St., Chatham, a 29-year-oldmale was found to have unendorsed warrants for Fail to Attend Court (FTA). He was arrested and transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters and held for bail.
Warrants- Case# CK25001384/CK25001385Date: January 08, 2025, Time: 15:47 hrs, Location: Wellington Street W, Chatham
Details:
- On Wellington Street W, Chatham, officers attended to call at a parking lot for a38-year-old male who is currently wanted on endorsed warrants by Winsor Police Service. He was arrested for outstanding warrants. Simultaneously, Windsor Police Service contacted Chatham-Kent Headquarters to advise that they also obtained a 32-year-old male with warrants for Chatham-Kent. Arrangements were made and officers were dispatched to Windsor Police Service to return the 38-year-oldmale. The 32-year-old male in custody at Windsor Police Station was also obtained by Chatham-Kent’s police officers. He is currently charged with failure to comply with a probation order, theft, and possession of stolen property. He was released with a court date of February 03, 2025.
Unwanted Person- Case# CK25001548 Date: January 09, 2025- Time: 0554 hrs, Location: Third St. Chatham
Details:
- A 32-year-old male at Third St. Chatham generated four calls for police service due to his erratic behaviour. Police officers arrested him for Mischief and Cause Disturbance. He was also transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters, processed, and held for bail.
