The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 134 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Three people were arrested.
Break and enter/Assault Tweedsmuir Ave West Chatham CK24011832
The residents of a Tweedsmuir Ave home woke in the early morning hours and found a young man sitting in a bedroom in their house. The homeowners were startled. The youth was removed from the home and a fight started. The male continue to fight until the Police arrived. A Chatham youth was arrested by Police and taken into custody. The youth was released to his to his parents and given a future court date.
Assault with Weapon/Administer Noxious substance Wills Street, Wallaceburg CK24011955
A verbal argument took place between two woman over a man. The argument escalated and one of the woman pulled out bear spray and sprayed the other with it. A 34 year old Wallaceburg woman was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon and applying a noxious substance. She was released on conditions to stay away from the other party and a court date of April 29/2024.
