Chatham-Kent, Ontario: The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 135 calls for service in the last 24 hours. 3 people were arrested, and 2 were on outstanding warrants.
Disturbance Leads to Charges CK24000695
Yesterday shortly after 12:00 p.m., police attended a business on Wellington Street West in Chatham for a disturbance. On arrival, police located a man who escalated the situation by shouting.
The 31-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with one count of causing a disturbance. The man was held pending a bail hearing.
Break and Enter in Blenheim CK24000765
Sometime over the last three weeks, unknown suspect(s) forced their way into a garage on Hall Street North in Blenheim. Once inside, the suspect(s) stole multiple HVAC tools and audio equipment. Total value of the theft has been estimated at $5000.

Man Arrested for Warrant CK24000737
Yesterday at approximately 5:15 p.m., police located a man who had an outstanding warrant for his arrest on King Street East in Chatham. The man was arrested and charged for theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime under $ 5,000. He was later released with a future court date of January 29th, 2024.
