The Chatham-Kent Police Service (CKPS) responded to a variety of incidents over the past 24 hours. Below is a summary of the key events, including arrests, investigations, and other notable occurrences:

- Total Call for Service: 274
- 911/PSAP Transfers: 61
- Reportable Calls: 43
- Non-Reportable Calls: 231
- Property Checks: 98
- Community Services/Foot Patrol: 6
- Domestics: 4
Arrests:
- 5 arrests were made throughout the day, including individuals wanted for outstanding warrants, failure to comply, and domestic-related offenses.
Warrants – Case# CK25005461
Date: January 27, 2025, Time: 08:57hrs., Location: Goyeau Street, Windsor
Details:
- The Windsor Police Service notified the Chatham-Kent Police Service that a 39-year-old male, Windsor resident was in their custody and being held for bail. The Chatham-Kent Police Service had a catch-and-release warrant for him. Chatham-Kent Police Officers travelled to Windsor, where they arrested him. He was released with conditions and given a future court date of March 03, 2025. We thank the Windsor Police Service for their assistance in this case.
Warrants – Case# CK25005563
Date: January 27, 2025, Time: 1930 hrs., Location: Birchwood St. Chatham
Details:
- A 31-year-old male, a resident of Chatham, was arrested for theft and possession from an incident at a clothing store located at St. Clair Street, Chatham. He was subsequently released with a future court date of March 10, 2025.
IPV/FTC – Case# CK25005588
Date: January 27, 2025, Time: 2143 hrs., Location: Wedgewood Dr. Chatham
Details:
- A 27-year-old male, a Chatham resident was located and arrested for Intermit Partner Violence, the possession of a weapon and the breaching of his curfew. He was subsequently held for bail.
