Man Arrested for Uttering Threats CK23064508
On December 18, 2023, at 9:52 a.m., police responded to a business on Murray Street in Wallaceburg for a threat investigation.
Through investigation, the officer learned the man had posted comments online threatening to burn the business down. Officers made contact and advised the man of the investigation.
At 11:11 a.m., the 50-year-old Chatham man attended police headquarters and turned himself in to the police. He was charged with uttering threats and released with conditions and a future court date of January 22, 2024.
Man Arrested for Failing to Comply with Release Conditions CK23064556
On December 6, 2023, the man was charged with assault, uttering threats, and mischief. The man was released with conditions and a future court date. The conditions prohibited him from communicating with the victim and attending any place she was known to live, work, or go to school.
On December 19, 2023, at 4:11 p.m., police received information the man had breached this condition. Through investigation, officers discovered the man attended to the victim’s address and attempted communication. Officers investigated and formed grounds to arrest the man.
The 20-year-old Chatham man was located and arrested, walking on King Street East in Chatham. He was charged with failing to comply with an undertaking.

On November 28, 2023, at 10:20 a.m., police began an assault investigation in Chatham Township.
Through investigation, the officer learned the man had physically assaulted his teenage son four times between June 2023 and September 2023.
On December 19, 2023, at 5:30 a.m., the 41-year-old Chatham Township man attended police headquarters and turned himself into police. The man currently faces four counts of assault. He was released with conditions and a future court date of January 22, 2024.

On December 20, 2023, at 4:08, the 41-year-old Chatham man was located on Communication Road in Blenheim. He was arrested and released with a new court date of January 22, 2024.
