Man Arrested for Failing to Comply with a Probation Order CK23063596
On December 13, 2023, at 10:43 a.m., police received information on the man’s whereabouts.
Officers attended the Chatham location and located the man. Officers confirmed he was wanted on several warrants for failing to comply with a probation order. The man was arrested and transported to police headquarters.
The 55-year-old Wallaceburg man currently faces the following charges: two counts of uttering threats and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order. He was released with conditions and a future court date of January 15, 2023.
Man Arrested for Failing to Attend Court CK23063621
At 12:59 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on the man who had been observed leaning over the Fifth Street Bridge in Chatham.
Responding officers located the man and found him to be under the influence of an unknown substance. The officers also confirmed the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court concerning a charge of possession of stolen property.
The 27-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested and transported to police headquarters. He faces the following charges: failing to attend court and possessing stolen property. He was held pending a bail hearing.
Man Arrested for Intimate Partner Violence CK23063703
At 10:25 p.m., police responded to Victoria Avenue in Chatham for a disturbance.
Through investigation, police learned of recent and historical occurrences where the man assaulted the woman. Police arrested the man and transported him to police headquarters.
The 30-year-old Chatham man was charged with two counts of assault causing bodily harm and three counts of assault. The man was held pending a bail hearing.
