Police Are Looking for the Public’s Assistance CK23045037
Yesterday morning police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Baldoon Road in Chatham. Through investigation, police learned that the driver of a black Nissan Altima drove into another motor vehicle that was parked on the side of the street. The driver of Nissan Altima failed to remain at the scene of the collision.

Break and Enter in Ridgetown CK23045076
Sometime since August 26th, unknown suspect(s) forced their way into a barn on Shrewburg Road in Ridgetown. Once inside, the suspect(s) stole numerous wooden planks. Total value of the theft has been estimated at $75.

Man Charged with Assault CK23045025
Last night, police responded to an assault complaint at a residence on Young Street in Tilbury. Through investigation, police learned that a man assaulted another man with a metal bucket by striking him on the left side of the head.
The 30-year-old Tilbury man was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon. He was released pending a future court date.
