Man Arrested for Failing to Attend Court CK23042553/RM23002834
As reported on July 13, 2023, the man was arrested and charged with indecent acts and criminal harassment. Following his arrest, he was released with a future court date of August 14, 2023. When the man failed to attend court, a warrant was issued for his arrest.
On August 15, 2023, at 9:45 a.m. police located and arrested the man on Young Street in Tilbury.
The 26-year-old Tilbury man faces several charges, including indecent act, failing to attend court and three counts of criminal harassment. He was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
Three Individuals Arrested for Drug Offences CK23042668
At 8:42 p.m., officers on patrol conducted a traffic stop on Lisgar Street in Wallaceburg. The vehicle contained three individuals: a woman driver and two male passengers.
Following an investigation, it was confirmed that the woman had an outstanding warrant from the London Police Service, while one of the men had an outstanding warrant from the Toronto Police Service.
Subsequently, during a search incident to arrest, officers discovered significant quantities of suspected cocaine, fentanyl, Canadian currency, and a firearm.
The 26-year-old woman from Chatham, the 25-year-old man from Chatham-Kent, and the 22-year-old man from Scarborough were all charged with possessing a controlled substance for trafficking and unauthorized firearm possession. All three individuals were transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
Man Arrested for Assault CK23042665
At 8:35 p.m., police responded to a disturbance at a business on Mill Street in Tilbury.
Police arrived on the scene and learned one man had punched another man and left before police arrived. The officer located the man at his residence and arrested him.
The 45-year-old Tilbury man was charged with assault. He was transported to police headquarters and released with conditions and a future court date of September 18, 2023.
Youth Arrested for Uttering Threats CK23042673
At 9:18 p.m., the police responded to a harassment investigation on Richmond Street in Chatham.
The investigation revealed that a distressing message had been posted on Instagram, inciting severe harassment with the intention of driving the victim to commit suicide.
The 17-year-old Blenheim youth was arrested and charged with uttering threats. They were transported to police headquarters and released with conditions of a future court date of September 18, 2023.
Woman Arrested for Bail Violations CK23042702
On August 11, 2023, the court released the woman with conditions including residing at a designated address in Blenheim.
On August 16, 2023, police received information the woman was not abiding by these conditions. Through investigation, police confirmed this information to be accurate.
The 26-year-old Blenheim woman was located and arrested by the officers. She was transported to police headquarter and charged with failing to comply with a release order. She was held pending a bail hearing.
