The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 123 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Three people were arrested.
Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrant (CK23008513)
On February 19th, 2023 at 9:07am police responded to a suspicious person complaint in the area of King Street in Wallaceburg. Upon arrival, police located the man and through investigation determined that he had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court.
The 35-year-old man was subsequently arrested by police and released on a Form 9 Appearance Notice with a future court date.
Woman Arrested on Outstanding Warrant (CK23008598)
On February 19th, 2023 at 8:34pm police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Albert Street in Wallaceburg. Through investigation, the driver of the vehicle was identified and found to be subject to multiple outstanding warrants for failing to attend court.
The 26-year-old woman was arrested and transported to police headquarters where she was held pending a bail hearing the following day.
