The Chatham-Kent Police Service continues its efforts to locate 37-year-old Nicholas Bond, who was last seen in Chatham on May 1, 2025, and reported missing on May 2.
Nicholas is described as a White male, 183 cm tall and approximately 131 kg. The police remain concerned for his well-being and are urging the public to assist in the search.

Impaired Driving- Case# CK25025510
Date: May 3, 2025, Time: 12:36hrs, Location: Bear Line, Dover Township
Details:
On Saturday, May 3, 2025, at approximately 12:36 hours, the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to reports of an impaired driver on Bear Line Road. A concerned citizen reported a black Honda CRV SUV swerving and nearly colliding with other vehicles before entering a ditch.
Upon arrival, officers found the driver, who claimed she was distracted by her puppy. However, officers noted a strong odor of alcohol, slowed speech, and glossy eyes. A reusable bottle containing a liquid with an alcohol odor was discovered in the vehicle.
The driver became uncooperative when asked to exit the vehicle. She was arrested for impaired driving and transported to police headquarters for breath tests.
The 46-year-old Sarnia woman was charged with Operation While Impaired – S.320.14(1)(a), Criminal Code of Canada and Operation While Impaired -Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus) – S. 320. 14(1(b), Criminal Code of Canada. She was released with conditions and a future court date of May 26, 2025. She also received a 90-day license suspension, and her vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Date: May 3, 2025, Time: 20:49hrs, Location: St. Clair Street, Chatham
Details:
On Saturday, May 3, 2025, at approximately 20:49 hours, the Chatham-Kent Police Service arrested a male for failing to comply with his release conditions. The individual, who was previously released on a Form 10 undertaking for multiple charges, including Fraud Over $5000 and Possession of Property Over $5000, was prohibited from entering Chatham-Kent except for court purposes.
Police observed the individual biking in the dark behind a funeral home on St. Clair Street in Chatham. Upon identification, it was confirmed that he was in violation of his undertaking by being in Chatham-Kent.
The 23-year-old Windsor man was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he was held for bail. It was confirmed the man was also wanted on a warrant held by Windsor Police Service.
Impaired Driving- Case# CK25025767
Date: May 4, 2025, Time: 19:11hrs, Location: Pain Court Line and Bear Line, Dover Township.
On Sunday, May 4, 2025, at approximately 19:11 hours, the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Pain Court Line and Bear Line in Dover Township.
A vehicle was observed traveling eastbound on Pain Court Line at a high rate of speed. The driver failed to stop at the stop sign at Bear Line, continuing onto a property east of Bear Line, where he drove through an implement shed, causing significant damage to both the building and the equipment inside.
The 21-year-old Sarnia man was arrested for impaired driving and transported to police headquarters. He refused to provide breath samples for testing. He has been charged with impaired driving, refusal to provide a sample, and several Highway Traffic Act offences. The individual was later released with conditions and a future court date of May 26, 2025.
