We are looking for experienced pipers and drummers.

Please contact Nicole Kadour at nicolek@chatham-kent.ca for more information.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service Pipes & Drums was formed in 2009 for ceremonial purposes, and to help promote the Police Service in our Community. In the fall of 2011, Chief Dennis Poole (Ret.) authorized the expansion of the Pipes & Drums not only for existing engagements, but also for competitive purposes.

The band actively competed in Grade 5 in 2012 and won the North American Champion Supreme in Grade 5 in 2013. In 2014, the band advanced to Grade 4 and competed at various Highland Games around Ontario and Michigan.

At the Chief of Police’s request, the band has participated in the annual Ontario Police Memorial at Queen’s Park, Toronto, the Canadian Police & Peace Officers Memorial in Ottawa, and our local Police Officers Memorial. Band members have also been honoured to participate in funeral services held for those Officers who have died in the line of duty.

The band proudly wears the National Millennium tartan, and is under the direction of Pipe Major Wm. Morrison.

Any questions regarding the band, please contact Band Liaison Nicole Kadour at nicolek@chatham-kent.ca.
